Cinque Campi sits in the foothills of the Reggio Emilia Apennines, on vineyards that have remained in the same family for more than 200 years.
For much of that history, the wine was simply made for the family. The estate took the name Cinque Campi in 1980, became officially organic in 2003 and, from 2005, began actively replanting local varieties that were disappearing from the area.
Fizz is a big part of its identity. The range moves from sparkling Lambrusco and rosé to traditional-method wines such as Particella 128, while local grapes including Spergola and Malbo Gentile remain central. It feels historic without being nostalgic: old Emilia grapes, handled with enough curiosity to keep them relevant.
