Braccia Rese is based in Busca, at the foot of the Monviso valleys in Piedmont. The project grew out of several different paths returning to the same place: home, vineyards and agriculture.
Rather than chasing Piedmont’s famous grapes, they focus on varieties with very little recognition outside their own hills. Quagliano, found around Busca and Saluzzo, and Neretta Cuneese sit at the heart of the project, alongside Barbera, Chatus and small parcels of other varieties.
Even the name carries the idea: Braccia Rese refers to giving one’s arms back to agriculture. It is a small project, but one with a clear purpose — making wines that give an overlooked corner of Piedmont its own voice.
