Valli Unite is as much a way of life as a winery.
In the 1970s, three young farmers chose to stay in Costa Vescovato and build an agricultural cooperative instead of leaving for city or factory work.
Today it manages more than 100 hectares of organic land. Alongside vineyards are cereals, pasture, vegetables, livestock and honey, plus a restaurant, accommodation and a campsite. Wine is one part of a much larger farm.
That helps explain bottles such as Bruto & the Beast: straightforward, lively wines made to put on the table and share.
