The grapes come from old vines aged 30 to 90 years, grown at around 300 metres altitude, and the wine goes through 9–12 days of whole-cluster maceration before ageing in stainless steel.

2. For pét-nat and orange wine in one bottle: Campedello 2022, Croci
Campedello is one of those bottles that makes natural wine feel fun without trying too hard.
It sits somewhere between pét-nat and orange wine: a lightly bubbly orange wine made from local white grapes including Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Trebbiano, Ortrugo, Sauvignon, and Marsanne. The wine has notes of ripe apricot, orange blossom, wet stones, peach, and tea leaf, with a gently sparkling finish.
This is a great bottle when you want something with energy. It has the texture of orange wine, the lift of bubbles, and enough freshness to keep everyone pouring another glass.

Thorc from Braccia Rese is a light and perfumed red from Piedmont, made with Barbera, Quagliano, Chatus, Neretta Cuneese, and Merlot. It is fresh, playful, and full of vibrant red fruit, with an easy-drinking character that makes it very approachable.
The wine is made using a traditional peasant method of pressing the grape skins after racking, then fermented and aged in steel and fiberglass. The result is bright, juicy, and ready to open without a long speech.

4. For seafood and mineral white lovers: 2023, Cantina Martinelli
If you usually like crisp white wine but want something with more edge, Gargantua is the bottle to try.
Made from 100% Garganega in Veneto, Italy, it comes from high hills in Fittà, where vines are up to 60 years old and rooted in volcanic basalt soil. Expect flint, green apple, white flowers, almond, minerality, and a salty finish.
