The Croci family moved from the southern Val d’Arda hills to Monterosso in 1935, establishing a farm above Castell’Arquato at around 250 metres.
Today Massimiliano and Giuseppe carry it on. Their wines continue Piacenza’s local traditions: white grapes fermented on their skins, little intervention, retained lees and bottle refermentation guided by the changing seasons.
Campedello captures that approach. Local grapes including Malvasia di Candia, Trebbiano and Ortrugo bring bread-crust notes, herbs, fruit and a little rustic character.
