Spring Unfiltered: Wines That Keep It Real - THE EARTH WINE

Spring Unfiltered: Wines That Keep It Real

Spring doesn’t need decoration. Nature’s already done the work.

The air feels softer. The skies flip between sunshine and storm clouds. It’s the season of sandals one day, sweaters the next. The air changes, and suddenly, we want wines that feel lighter, brighter, and a little wilder.

Same goes for our bottles. When nothing is added, nothing needs hiding. These are natural wines — made without chemicals, filtered words, or flashy packaging. Just organic grapes, native yeast, and the winemakers who trust nature to do its thing.

If you’re new here, natural wine is all about purity and process. It’s grown without pesticides. Fermented without lab-grown yeast. Bottled without added sugar, coloring, or stabilizers. What you taste is the grape, the land, and the person behind it — not a recipe.

And that’s exactly what spring calls for: ease, openness, and a little unpredictability.

Here are a few wines we’re opening this season:

In Albis Sulle Bucce – Franco Terpin (Friuli, Italy)
Vermentino with some real attitude. Left on skins, aged naturally, and bottled with nothing added. A touch wild, a touch golden. Shop In Albis →

Emagliole 2021 – Cantine Matrone (Campania, Italy)
Made from ancient grapes grown on volcanic soil, this rustic red brings depth and character without being heavy. One of those wines that gets better with every sip. Shop Emagliole →

Trebbiano IGT 2021 – Podere San Biagio (Abruzzo, Italy)
Not your average white. Skin-fermented for 90 days in amphora, this is bold, golden, and wild. Textured but not heavy. Think spicy noodles, late sunsets, and a second glass. Shop Trebbiano →

Gambi – Braccia Rese (Piedmont, Italy)
This forest-grown red feels alive: woodsy, mineral, and fresh. Slightly chilled, it’s the perfect glass for thunderstorm evenings or solo dinners. Shop Gambi →

Miro 2023 – Cristiano Guttarolo (Puglia, Italy)
A joyful, juicy Primitivo from one hectare of bush-trained vines. Short skin contact, long stainless steel rest. Fresh and light with a little grip — a totally new take on a familiar grape. Shop Miro →

Testa Calda – Bacco (Italy)
Juicy, punchy, and a little rebellious. Great slightly chilled, even better when shared. An easy pick for afternoons that turn into nights. Shop Testa Calda →

So here’s to spring — unfiltered, unpredictable, and totally alive.
